- However, there’s a twist: each person has to build the tower with one hand behind their back.
Cooperation Quilt Activity:
- Students draw an example of cooperation in the middle of the quilt.
- In each corner, students answer how they would cooperate in each situation.
- Last, students color their quilt, cut along the outside of the quilt, and attach them to a sheet of colored paper.
- Each students’ square can be combined to make a large classroom quilt display.
Quote of the Week:
- Each week, discuss a new quote about cooperation with your students.
- Quote of the week includes five different quotes about cooperation.
- Activity page with three reflection questions is included for each quote.
- Each quote is available in a speech bubble that you can print and hang.
Cooperation Scenarios/Social Stories:
- Let students place themselves in new situations and think about ways to be cooperative.
- Use these scenarios to inspire meaningful conversations in your classroom.
- Display the scenarios on your bulletin board for a class discussion or print the scenarios for students to work in groups or independently.
Cooperation Reader’s Theatre:
- Readers theater will help with fluency, comprehension, and speaking and while studying character education.
- There are three scripts for students to read and perform.

- Includes five writing prompts for students to reflect and write about cooperation.
- Students write about how people cooperate in school, how cooperation would be important at a new job, a time you had to cooperate with someone to achieve something, a story about two enemies who had to cooperate to reach a common goal, and a story about what happens when parts of your body stop cooperating with each other.
