The events of Patriot Day can be tough topic to teach—some of our students have firsthand experience through family members, and others don’t know much about the day, but it’s important that we remember 9/11 with empathy and accuracy as we pass that information on to our students. This Patriot Day Flipbook is an accurate way to build students’ knowledge of the event, recognize the heroes involved on September 11th and beyond, and contemplate what it means to be a patriot.
