I’m linking up with Ms. Farley over at…
I swear I may tell my hunnie that we could use a maid and a grocery delivery service probably 42 times a day! Seriously! When I get home from work at like 6:30 p.m. some nights, the LAST thing I want to do is go grocery shopping! UGH!
Have any of you read Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls to your kids?
No joke this is the best book in the entire world! Your kids will beg and plead with you not to stop reading at the end of your read alouds each day. I read it every year as my first read aloud, and I add in some of my favorite southern twang and I swear it makes even my stubborn readers fall in love with reading!
Where the Red Fern Grows is my favorite book of all! I teach first graders (mostly) so it’s too much for them, but I would read it aloud if I taught 5th! It makes me cry EVERY time I read it! So many lessons about humanity in that book. Love!

I wish I could have a maid, personal assistant, and chef. That would be so amazing and save a LOT of time. One thing I don’t like it the cold weather. I love the hot months and time at the beach :)
come check out my blog and I am also having a 100 follower giveaway!

Hi there! Just came across your blog through the “Currently” linky party! You’ve got some great resources here at your blog! Thanks for sharing!
PS – when you find that maid, chef, personal assistance…etc… I’d like to sign up for that too!

I’d love a maid and grocery service too! Although it’s Saturday, which means catch up day at our house! :)

I LOVE Where the Red Fern Grows! But, I boo hoo so bad that I’ve never read it to a class. I had two dogs very similar to the story. I just can’t! I’m so glad you read it. Maybe one day I will get up the courage to do read it to my class. :) Love your blog.
